Distance Learning at UAlbany

Welcome to the University at Albany's Online & Distance Learning website!

Here is where you will find information regarding online degree programs, the semester's course offerings, and other important information including information regarding admissions and registration.

The School of Education at the University at Albany offers two completely online master's degree programs — the MS in Curriculum Development and Instructional Technology and the MS in Childhood Education (Literacy). Several other departments at the University offer graduate and undergraduate online classes. However, the University at Albany does not offer any complete online undergraduate degree programs.

Your first step in taking an online course is always admission. Admissions are available through degree and non-degree study at the graduate and undergraduate level, depending upon space availability. For more information on admissions, please click here.

To find out if taking online courses is right for you, please take a look at the Frequently Asked Questions page.
