October is National Cyber Security Awareness Month


October is Security Awareness Month.  Please take this time to review the Awareness Top 10 Security Tips and apply them to home, school, and work. 

Also, be extra careful when handling someone's personally identifiable information.  This includes: 

  • Social Security numbers,
  • credit card information,
  • drivers license number,
  • as well as any personal financial information. 

This information should be protected at all times from unauthorized disclosure.  Please report any infractions to the Information Security Office on a Security Incident Report.
