Early this week University email users received a fraudulent request to confirm their account passwords.

The message, which purportedly comes from the HelpDesk, is a fake. No University office, service provider, or employee will EVER ask you for an account password.

Your password is personal and private and should never be shared. Requests to provide passwords should be ignored or refused.
