Attention: Safari users, System Administrators, Desktop Support Personnel.

Summary: On November 13 2008 Apple released a security bulletin that details numerous security vulnerabilities in its popular Safari web browser.  The majority of these vulnerabilities could be exploited when a maliciously-crafted image file is handled by a vulnerable computer.  Potential outcomes of successful exploitation range from application crash to complete system takeover.  An updated version of Safari (3.2) has been made available by Apple to address these vulnerabilities.

Recommended Actions:  Safari users, system administrators, and support personnel are encouraged to read the appropriate bulletin(s) (safe links provided below) and apply the update(s) as soon as possible.
