Summary: On March 18 2008 Apple released Version 3.1 of its popular Safari web browser.  Safari 3.1 includes fixes for 13 security vulnerabilities that (if exploited) could result in a variety of negative conditions ranging from the disclosure of personal information to system crash and/or takeover of a vulnerable computer. 

Recommended Actions:   Safari users and System Administrators are encouraged to upgrade their Safari browsers to version 3.1 as soon as possible.
