Summary: On March 30, Microsoft announced the release of service pack 1 (SP1) for its' Windows Server 2003 software platform. SP1 contains a number of security-related updates, including a firewall and countermeasures to server vulnerability during upgrade operations.Recommended Actions: Windows Server 2003 System Administrators are encouraged to read the information supplied by Microsoft about SP1 and consider the installation of this service pack if it meets the needs and functionality of their server deployment(s).
