Summary:  In addition to its scheduled release of two new security bulletins on December 13 2005 Microsoft released updated versions of two notices (MS05-011 and MS05-050, both originally deemed as "critical" by the vendor).  The updates clarify update package availability for certain versions of DirectX on particular versions of the Windows Operating System and highlight a knowledge base article that addresses
post-installation issues for update MS05-011.

Recommended Actions:  Windows System Administrators and other Support Personnel are encouraged to read the updated Security Bulletins at their earliest convenience.
