Summary: On March 16 2006 Apple released a new revision of its Security Update 2006-02 (originally released on 3/13/06). At the time of this writing (8:45 EST 3/17/06) the vendor has provided only brief details about the nature of this revision, stating that v1.1 "improves the reliability and security of the following components: apache_mod_php, CoreTypes, LaunchServices, Mail, rsync, and Safari" and that the update " is recommended for all users".
Recommended Actions: Mac OS X administrators/users are encouraged to read the v1.1 Security Update information (link provided below) and (if applicable) apply the update as soon as possible.
