Summary: At the time of this writing (4PM EST 2/14/06) Several Internet Security Monitoring agencies are reporting a problem with the download and installation of the Security Bulletin MS06-007 patch *when using the Microsoft Update website or autoupdate software*. Direct download from the Security Update KB913446 site link (link provided below) does not seem to suffer from this problem.

Recommended Actions: It is presumed the vendor will resolve this issue in shortly. In the meantime, Windows system managers and support personnel are encouraged to use the KB 913446 download site if they choose to install the update prior to vendor response.
