Faculty / Staff — UNIX Email

Getting Set Up

To gain access to UNIX mail, you must:

  1. Initialize your UNIX account by using Password Set / Reset

  2. Request a mailbox by filling out the form; request an alias at the time if desired.

  3. Choose from among the available email options (not mutually exclusive).

  4. Configure your software, if necessary.

  5. Forward your mail, if desired, to a different mail account, using Webmail.

  6. Specify your email address in the faculty/staff directory.
  7. Set up Spam Filtering
