UAlbany Mail

The University uses Microsoft's Live@edu to provide the UAlbany Mail service. It includes email, calendaring, Microsoft Office web applications and personal file storage.

Email and Calendars:

• Full-feature use of Outlook 2010 for Windows and Outlook 2011 for Mac
• Access your email, contacts and calendar from anywhere with Outlook Web App using almost any browser
• Use Exchange ActiveSync on almost any smart phone or other mobile device for constant access to your mail, calendar and contacts
• Departmental mailboxes available by request
• Room calendars available by request let you book a room when scheduling meetings
• Distribution groups available by request let you email a team, group or department with a single email address

• Online companions to Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote
• Easily store files and documents online in a password protected environment
• Access, view and edit your online documents from any PC or Mac that is connected to the Internet

• Control who has permission to view or edit any of your documents
