This fall, residential students will see significant improvements in connectivity. Internet speeds have increased from 10Mb/s inbound and 1Mb/s outbound to 75Mb/s for all network traffic. The service can be shared across 5 devices instead of 3. These improvements are the result of a partnership between the Department of Residential Life, ITS and Apogee, Inc.

Phishing: Don't Ask, Don't Tell
Earlier this month, several members of the campus community fell victim to a phishing message threatening the loss of their account unless they clicked on a link requesting their NetID and password. The University will never ask for your password, or threaten the loss of services requiring you to submit your credentials.

Want to get better at identifying bogus messages? Check out our Red Flags document, which is designed to help you identify threat indicators associated with fraudulent messages. For examples of phishing messages, don't forget to visit our Catch of the Day.
