Web Conferencing Services

 

Description

ITS is introducing a limited web conferencing service for faculty/staff. Faculty who wish to use web conferencing for academic courses may request access to Collaborate. This service provides a shared whiteboard, application sharing, and chat for live and recorded web collaboration services. A limited number of licenses, which are assigned to specific individuals, are available for academic use.

Faculty and staff may request access to GoToMeeting for web-based meetings. This service provides a live, online meeting space that includes audio, video, application sharing and file sharing. In preparation for your video conference, ITS will:

• Consult with faculty regarding their use of Collaborate for academic courses (required)
• Consult with faculty/staff regarding thier use of GoToMeeting for online meetings and collaboration (recommended)
• Provide credentials to access Collaborate or GoToMeeting
• Provide access to training guides

Requests are processed Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Please allow up to three business days to process your request.

Pricing Information

There is no charge for web conferences. Depending on your needs, you may engage an 800 number service or use an audio or video bridge at an additional cost to you.
