Exiting Emacs

Before exiting Emacs, save your file with CTRL-x , then CTRL-s. After this, exit by using CTRL-x, then CTRL-c. Before finishing, Emacs checks for any buffers changed but not saved. If one is found, it asks you if you wish to leave Emacs without saving. |
