Manual Archiving
Click the File menu and click on Archive. (If you don't see Archive you may need to click on the double arrows
pointing down at the bottom of the menu to show the Archive option.

Select Archive this folder and all subfolders. Then select the folder or folders that you wish to archive (i.e. Inbox, Sent Items or entire Mailbox). Use the Archive items older than box to select the Outlook items to archive (You can set this to 2 months ago, this way anything older than 2 months will be archived).
- Important: Change the Archive file to U:\Outlook Archive - DO NOT DELETE.pst
Clicking OK will cause Outlook to move your old messages from the specified folder(s) to the Outlook Archive file on your U:\ drive. Going forward, you can move items to your archive as needed to reduce the amount of space used on the server.

Choose the Other tab to find the AutoArchive button. Click on the AutoArchive button to bring up the AutoArchive properties.

Update the following information to your preferences, but we recommend the following. Then Click OK.
- Important: Change the Move old items to: U:\Outlook Archive - DO NOT DELETE.pst

AutoArchive will automatically move or delete items in specific folders that exceed a specified age. The process runs automatically whenever you start Outlook. The AutoArchive properties of each folder are checked by date, and old items are moved to your archive file. Items in the Deleted Items folder are deleted.
