Program of Study for MS in TESOL With Certification as K-12 TESOL Specialist in New York State Schools

A minimum of 48 graduate credits are required for the MS in TESOL plus New York State certification. Requirements for this program (consult planning sheet for specific courses) include as a minimum: (Planning Sheet)

6 credits of Foundations courses
(EPSY 522 and ESPE 560)
12 credits in the teaching of English to speakers of other languages
15 credits of appropriate field experience
6 credits in language and literacy
3 credits in linguistics
3 credits in technology
