To register you must have :

An Advisor Verification Number (AVN). (Students receive a new AVN number each semester so you must contact the department or your advisor to obtain one.) |

The four-digit class number for each course you intend to take. |
|
A CPN number for courses that require permission
of instructor. |
Courses noted in the schedule with a 1 under footnote
also require a CPN.
Once you have obtained an AVN and, if necessary,
CPN(s), you will need to access the University at
Albany website (www.albany.edu/myUAlbany)
to register for classes. You will need a PIN number
for registration purposes. If you do not have a
PIN, instructions to obtain one are on the above
site. Registration by phone has been discontinued.
