Department of East Asian Studies

The department offers three different Bachelor of Arts degrees: Chinese, Japanese, and East Asian.

We provide instruction in elementary, intermediate, and advanced Chinese, Japanese and Korean. There are also courses taught in English on Chinese, Japanese and Korean linguistics, literature, art history, religion, philosophy, history, geography, economics, and political science.
