This is a shelter for homeless women and women with children. It has been serving this population for 25 years by providing a save and homey environment including three meals, snacks and daily case management, assessment, advocacy and an holistic approach to self-sufficiency. Student volunteers will learn about the function of the Organization. They will assist the resident advisors and the case management team in providing quality services for the women and children in the homeless shelter. They will learn how to work with a diverse population that needs assistance and they will learn how to advocate for the
women and their children. This is an appropriate Organization for students who are interested in social welfare, psychology and sociology.
