Minority Health Disparities is one of the top priorities on the nation’s healthcare agenda and narrowing this breach is one of the top two priorities of the Federal Government and the Department of Health and Human Services. Click here for a list of research and resources on minority health disparity includes links to the primary institutions tracking and supporting this public health issue.
To become initiated on this topic, the Office of Minority Health and Health Disparities in the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (www.cdc.gov/omhd/default.htm) as well as the Department of Health and Human Services Office of Minority Health (http://www.omhrc.gov/) would be good places to start.
