UAlbany Budget Updates
Message from Budget Advisory Group IV Co-Chairs on Tue, Mar 15, 2011
As you know, the President formed Budget Advisory Group IV earlier this year to help him formulate the campus response to the likely new reductions in state resources in the coming NYS budget. Reports from the meetings of this group are being made to the Senate and the Senate Executive Committee, and are being posted to the "Budget Updates" section of MyUAlbany, or through "UAlbany Budget Updates" section of the University's homepage (www.albany.edu/budget, or directly, at: http://www.albany.edu/budget/bag-IV.shtml).
Through these access points, you can find:
- A summary and roster of the membership of BAG IV
- President Philip's charge
- Meeting Reports to the Senate, and any accompanying presentation materials (the most recent, the report of 3/11/11, will be posted later today)
In addition, to provide opportunity for additional comment and input from members of the campus community, we have established a "Budget Advisory Group IV" wiki. This wiki is a web-based site that allows you to review documents, read the comments of others, and post you own comments. To access the wiki, please click on the link at the Budget Advisory Group IV website or in the Budget Updates section of MyUAlbany. The log-in information for the wiki is the same that you use to access MyUAlbany.
Both President Philip and the members of BAG IV welcome your comments on the budget and input into the planning process, and will look forward to hearing from you.
