Friends of the Libraries Sponsor Annual Book Sale

ALBANY, N.Y. (September 15, 2005) -- University at Albany's Friends of the Libraries is sponsoring their annual book sale on Saturday, October 8, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. in front of the University Library on the uptown campus. The event is part of the University at Albany's homecoming weekend celebration.

To donate books to the sale contact Michael Lonergan at (518) 442-3555 or [email protected]; or bring donations to the University Library circulation desk. Paperbacks and hardbacks in good condition are appreciated. Specifically fiction, biography, history, cookbooks, mysteries, and art books are welcome. Please no textbooks, encyclopedias, magazines or periodicals, Reader's Digest condensed books, foreign language books, videos or DVDs.

All proceeds from the Friends' annual book sale go to Albany's University Libraries in support of student scholarship and services.
