Message from the Graduate Director
Welcome to the start of a new semester! As we bask in the glow
of our most recent accomplishment, the sixth annual international
graduate student conference on "Media Justice and Feminist
Futures," held November 29-30, 2007, we look forward to building
on such success for spring 2008, an important time when we prepare
to admit and welcome a new class of MA students for the 2008-2009
school year.
Our graduate program currently includes an eclectic and diverse
group of students embarking on new courses, original research,
and peer-teaching opportunities, as well as core, joint, and affiliated
faculty from a broad range of disciplinary subjects and diverse
experiences in social justice issues who consistently rank across
the university as the most provocative, relevant, and unique instructors
teaching courses on feminism, race relations, arts, globalization,
and public policy.
