The myth persists that prolific scholars are born not made, but research suggests otherwise. Much is known about the steps you can take to become prolific. Tara Gray, one of the most highly sought-after presenters in the US on professional productivity in academe, is our guest for a day of interactive, hands-on workshops. She does double-duty as Associate Professor of Criminal Justice and Director of the New Mexico State University Teaching Academy. She has presented workshops on academic and professional productivity in twenty states and in Guatemala, Mexico, Canada, and Thailand. Some testimonials: “I tried these steps on a paper I had been trying to put together for five years. Four weeks later the paper is out for review.” “Internalizing these steps has caused my productivity to quadruple.” UAlbany faculty members are invited to sign up for two events that are sure to have an impact on your daily work, as well as on your long-term goals.
