Philosophy of Music Education Review
The Philosophy of Music Education Review disseminates philosophical research in music education to an international community of scholars, artists, and teachers. It regularly includes articles that address philosophical or theoretical issues relevant to education, including reflections on current practice, research, issues, or questions; reform initiatives; philosophical writings; theories; the nature and scope of education and its goals and purposes; and cross-disciplinary dialogue relevant to the interests of music educators.
Bulletin of the Council for Research in Music Education
The Bulletin of the Council for Research in Music Education (CRME) provides a forum where contemporary research is made accessible to all with interest in music education. The Bulletin contains current research, and reviews of interest to the international music education profession.
International Journal of Music Education
The International Journal of Music Education (IJME) is published four times a year from 2008.
Research (February and August ) issues comprise scholarly reports that enhance knowledge regarding the teaching and learning of music with a special interest toward an international constituency and of interest and relevance to the international community.
Practice (May and November) issues publish articles relevant to advancing the practice of music teaching and learning at all age levels with issues of direct concern to the classroom or studio, in school and out, private and group instruction.
