ITLAL staff members are available for walk-in consultations from 8:00 AM until 4:00 PM Monday – Friday. Call ahead to be sure a consultant will be accessible when you come by.

Discussions on Team-Based Learning
Come by ITLAL to find fellow enthusiasts for TBL, in the aftermath of the May 8 workshops by Larry Michaelsen. ITLAL keeps the scratch-off quiz forms in stock for team-testing purposes.

Technology Leadership Academy: Blended Learning
ITLAL and the Schools of Education, Public Health and Social Welfare are joining forces this summer in the first TLA. This is a 3-day “boot camp” pilot designed to foster a community of UAlbany faculty leaders in the ways of integrating online and face-to-face learning.

Clickers for large (and small) classes
Come by ITLAL to meet with a consultant if you are interested in using a clicker system in your courses this fall. The latest clicker technology is extremely easy to use, cheap to acquire, and yet can have a transformative effect on student engagement.

Digitizing Media
The summer is an excellent time to think ahead to the fall, and finally convert all those old videotapes into digital files that you can drop into a presentation, or that your students can access anywhere, anytime. We’ll teach you to do it yourself, or, with sufficient lead time (about 2 weeks), do it for you.
