Sexual Assault Resource Center
Men REACH

MenREACH stands for Men for Relationship Education and Change. Men REACH began over ten years ago on our campus as an outgrowth of the summer program offered to all incoming freshman. Several of our male professional staff were interested in volunteer their time to be trained and to help educate male students about the issue of sexual assault on our campus. This group of men assist in providing programs during our Summer Orientation for incoming freshman. This group are known for their interactive and lively discussion with incoming male freshman. These men are dedicated to reaching out to campus community. Men REACH has collaborated to provide programs on occasion throughout the school year that address sexual violence and the promotion of healthy relationships. Any interest in collaborating with Men REACH please contact Kelly Horner, Director, Sexual Assault Resource Center.

Who we are
We are University at Albany men, staff and students alike, who are committed to ending sexual violence – especially violence against women – in all its forms. We are also interested in improving the quality of relating that goes on between men and women and indeed between all members of our University community.
We are a part of the Sexual Assault Prevention Education provided by the Sexual Assault Resource Center. We are also one of a growing number of men's groups around the country who are standing up to say no to the violence that happens to women most often at the hands of other men. We are working to educate and engage all men in the goal of ending violence in all its forms.
