Things to Do in the Capital Region

Capital Region activities offer a variety of pleasures, ranging from the cultural stimulation of fine museums to the recreational exhilaration of rock climbing. There is plenty of entertainment too, from bowling to billiards, restaurants, movie theaters to live concerts venues, and skiing to golf. The urge to shop will be easily satisfied by the many malls and retail centers close by. Attractions just beyond the local area include the Adirondacks, the National Baseball Hall of Fame, Six Flags Great Escape, the Saratoga Performing Arts Center, and Tanglewood.
