Susan Garnett is currently pursuing her doctorate in reading at the University at Albany. She received a Certificate of Advanced Study as well as a Masters in reading at the University at Albany and received a BS in special education at The College of Saint Rose.
Susan has worked in local school districts as a reading specialist and special education teacher and has worked in the capital district area as a literacy consultant/coordinator providing professional development in English Language Arts.
Her research interests include teacher preparation and spatial theory. Susan lives in the Adirondacks with her family and in her spare time travels to Maine.
