About Chris Cain…

After thirty years of teaching in public schools, Chris spent seven years as an adjunct instructor at the College of St Rose teaching a variety of curriculum courses. Since 2005 she has found a platform for her belief in integrated, holistic teaching through the on-line course offered by SUNY Albany. Her love for children’s literature has helped her develop a thematic approach to teaching complex Social Studies concepts while developing reading abilities. While in the classroom, she also has had many opportunities to integrate another passion, Math, into all of these areas.

Her multisensory approach to learning is an extension of her many hobbies including quilting and organic gardening.
