If your dissertation involves human subjects (wherever they may be located) the University Human Subjects Review Board must approve your proposed research. Application forms are obtained from the Research Compliance Administrator, Compliance Office, Office for Sponsored Programs, MSC 312, 1400 Washington Ave., Albany, NY 12222. No data may be collected until this Board approves the study, and any data collection after such approval must abide by the Board's decision.
