program still requires 67 credit hours for completion.

has changed in the revised Special Ed & Literacy (67hrs)
program?
--there
are four course distribution requirements in the revised
program plan: Core Required Courses (52
credit hours), Elective Reading (6
credit hours), Elective Ed Psychology (6
credit hours), and Elective Special Education (3
credit hours);
--there
were no electives in the old program plan. Now there
are elective areas, offering choices of courses from a list
of possible options;
--some
of the courses formerly listed as required are
now electives in
the revised program.
