What has remained the same in the Special Ed & Literacy (67hrs) program?

--the program still requires 67 credit hours for completion.

What has changed in the revised Special Ed & Literacy (67hrs) program?

--there are four course distribution requirements in the revised program plan: Core Required Courses (52 credit hours), Elective Reading (6 credit hours), Elective Ed Psychology (6 credit hours), and Elective Special Education (3 credit hours);

--there were no electives in the old program plan.  Now there are elective areas, offering choices of courses from a list of possible options;

--some of the courses formerly listed as required are now electives in the revised program.

Which Special Ed & Literacy (67hrs) program plan should I follow?

--students entering the Special Ed & Literacy (67hrs) program after Fall, 2005 must follow the revised program plan.

--if you are nearing completion of your Special Ed & Literacy (67hrs) program, you should remain with the program plan you have been following all along.
