If you are a matriculated student in the Classroom Track On Campus, you should download a copy of this program planning sheet, print it out, and keep it updated.


MS Reading: Classroom Teacher Track (On Campus) Notes

Note: be sure to download/print the latest planning sheet, dated 10/14/05

What has remained the same in the Classroom Teacher Track (on campus) program?

--the program still requires 30 credit hours for completion.

--the program still requires Core Required Courses (9 credits), and the courses that comprise the Core Required Courses remain the same.

What has changed in the revised Classroom Teacher Track (on campus) program?

--the Concentration requirement has been eliminated.  There is no need to designate a concentration.

--the Elective Reading Courses requirement has increased from 12 credits to 21 credits.

Which Classroom Teacher Track (on campus) program plan should I follow?

--if you are nearing completion of your Classroom Teacher Track program, you might want to consider remaining with the program plan you have been following all along. If you have completed the Concentration requirement, check that your concentration courses will count as Elective Reading Courses before shifting to the revised program plan.
