Note: be sure to download/print
the latest planning sheet, dated 10/14/05
What
has remained the same in the Classroom Teacher Track (on
campus) program?
--the
program still requires 30 credit hours for completion.
--the
program still requires Core Required Courses (9
credits), and the courses that comprise the Core Required
Courses remain
the same.
What
has changed in the revised Classroom Teacher Track (on campus)
program?
--the Concentration requirement
has been eliminated. There is no need to designate
a concentration.
--the Elective
Reading Courses requirement
has increased from 12 credits to 21 credits.
Which
Classroom Teacher Track (on campus) program plan should I
follow?
--if
you are nearing completion of your Classroom Teacher Track
program, you might want to consider remaining with the program
plan you have been following all along. If you have completed
the Concentration requirement,
check that your concentration courses will count as Elective
Reading Courses before
shifting to the revised program plan.
