Friends of the Libraries Sponsors Glimmerglass Trip
Reservations for Cosi Fan Tutte due by June 30

ALBANY, N.Y. (June 3, 2005) -- The University at Albany Friends of the Libraries will sponsor an outing to Glimmerglass Opera on Sunday, July 10, 2005, to attend a performance of Mozart’s Cosi Fan Tutte.

Del Cummings, member of the board of the Friends of the Libraries, invites individuals to join the group for the production of one of the world’s great romantic operas, a work both comic and poignant. Glimmerglass is a critically acclaimed summer festival known for fresh, highly innovative productions amidst glorious landscapes.

Prior to the opera, the party will have brunch at The Otesaga Hotel. Selections will include omelets, breakfast and carving meats, pancakes, waffles, baked good, fruits, pastries and desserts.

The cost of this Glimmerglass outing, including transportation on an air-conditioned bus, brunch, and the opera ticket, is $119.50, which includes first-floor seating at Glimmerglass.
