Peer Assistance Program

The Middle Earth Peer Assistance Program is currently seeking applicants for its spring 2018 Training Class. Middle Earth provides services to the University at Albany campus and the community through a student-staffed and professionally supervised hotline, peer wellness coaching program, and peer wellness ambassador service.

Middle Earth is an excellent way for you to gain experience and preparation for careers in psychology, social work, teaching, medicine, communication and other related fields. Anyone can apply, regardless of major. Course credit is available through ECPY 400, 403, 404, 405, 406, and 497 in the Department of Educational and Counseling Psychology. These courses also fulfill some of the requirements for an Educational Studies minor at the University as well as the Peer Assistance and Leadership concentration for the Human Development major.

The deadline for applications is November 15th.
