Students on the podium The web is the primary resource for students and others seeking information about the University at Albany. The UAlbany Website Graphic Standards Manual has been prepared for official units of the University at Albany to use in the development of web pages.

Web page standards and templates have been created to present the University's identity clearly and to provide visitors with a consistent navigation system across all UAlbany websites. Although the web templates contain required elements to ensure a consistent identity and navigation, they serve primarily as a structure for each unit to customize with content and images that will express its unique qualities and strengths.

Who Should Use UAlbany Web Templates?

The UAlbany website graphic standards and web templates should be used by official University at Albany sites. UAlbany colleges, schools, academic departments, centers, constituent organizations and all University administrative offices are encouraged to use the new standards and web templates.

This manual should be provided to any vendors or other external resources you may be using to ensure that our identity is used properly.

Personal web pages maintained by faculty, staff or students should not use these web templates and may not contain any of the University at Albany logos or any other University copyrighted materials or images.
