|Students from the Citizenship Academy at Albany High School met with doctoral students from the School of Criminal Justice throughout the spring 2013 semester. The group discussed issues of justice and diversity using historical examples as well as real-life experiences that impact their every day life. At the end of the semester, the Albany High students created posters that highlighted events and individuals from three pivotal eras in world history - The Holocaust, The Civil Rights Movement, and Apartheid. The students presented their posters during the Explorations in Justice symposium in April. School District administrators, members of the local community, and symposium participants attended the poster session.
