Opportunities for Undergraduate Student Research and Internships
Practical, engaged service, fieldwork or internship experiences are a requirement for completion of the major. These internships or engaged learning experiences can be in the Capital District, out of state, or outside the United States. To the extent that students do their internships abroad, these will be coordinated with the University’s International Education and Study-Abroad Office.

Aimed at showcasing the best of what our majors have accomplished during their years of study.

Conversations Across the Disciplines
Yearly conferences among University at Albany faculty and faculty from other U.S.
and foreign universities and institutions on issues of research and
teaching in the field of Globalization Studies.

Regular Monthly Seminars (Brown Bag Lunch Series)
As faculty and students begin to discuss globalization processes across departments and colleges, a regular series of conversations is to be encouraged through the sponsoring of these monthly presentations.

Outreach Activities
Organized with the collaboration of community organizations or agencies and area schools.
