Instructions for Master Reset of Cell Phones:
If you should receive a message on your cell phone that reads "Restricted Service" you must perform a master reset using the instructions listed below. If the problem persists please call NEXTEL Customer Service at 888-566-6111.
- [Menu] key.
- [Down Scroll] to Settings.
- Press key under Select or OK Nav button.
- [Down Scroll] to Advanced.
- Press key under Select or OK Nav button.
- [Down Scroll] to Connectivity.
- Press key under Select or OK Nav button.
- [Down Scroll] to Master Reset.
- Press key under Select or OK Nav button.
- Enter Security Code displays.
- Press [0] key 6 times to enter 000000.
- If security code has been changed enter new security code, if customer does not remember it, see Sales & Service Locator and refer customer to Nextel Direct Service Center to retrieve code.
- Search by 'Nextel Sales & Service' or 'Nextel Service only'; Direct Service Centers are indicated by a red 'N'.
- Press key under OK.
- Master Reset displays.
- Press key under Yes.
- Caution See Manual displays.
- Press key under OK; phone will power off.
