Mission

It is the mission of The Office of Facilities Management to preserve yesterday, maintain today and to build for the future while providing a physical environment that enables The University at Albany to achieve its objectives in instruction, research, and public service.

About Facilities Management

We are a unit within the Division of Finance and Business. Our six major departments are Architecture, Engineering, and Construction Management, Space Management and Campus Preservation, Physical Plant and Facility Services, Administrative Services, Energy Management, and Information Technology.

The Office of Facilities Management also provides campus customers with service for special events, grounds, maintenance, and craft-specific services. We maintain all official campus mapping and detailed archives concerning the specifications and history of our buildings and grounds.
