Professor Levine is director of the program in Education and Law in the Department of Educational Administration and Policy Studies. Active in the practice of higher education law for over 30 years, Professor Levine is the former University Counsel and Vice Chancellor for Legal Affairs for the sixty-four campus State University of New York. He has served as President of the National Association of College and University Attorneys and has participated frequently in national higher education conferences and seminars. A member of the New York Bar, Professor Levine has been elected a Life Fellow of both the American Bar Foundation and the New York Bar Foundation. He has also been elected a Fellow of the State Academy for Public Administration.
