EAPS is committed to providing its students with diverse and rigorous training through a wide variety of high-quality courses exploring the theory and practice of educational leadership. The department is continually reviewing its course offerings for pedagogical coherence and to reflect changing standards of practice in educational management, administration, and policy analysis. Following is a complete list of EAPS courses, which shows how well EAPS has achieved that goal.

Each of the pre-core courses are offered almost every semester, and the doctoral core courses are offered at least once a year. The department attempts to offer its other courses on a regular basis, the frequency of which is determined by student enrollments and staff availability. Students are encouraged to pre-register, if possible, to provide early estimates of the demand for elective courses.

The specific procedures to register can be found elsewhere, but in short, to register, students need to obtain an Advisor Verification Number (AVN) from their academic advisor. Some courses also require a permission number, which must be obtained from the instructor.
