Welcome to the website for the Center for Policy Research (CPR) at the Rockefeller College of Public Affairs & Policy. CPR is a central hub for conducting sponsored research and outreach activities at Rockefeller College. The Center provides support to students and faculty seeking to obtain grant funding and in managing their grant awards. The Center also handles the administration of the Rockefeller College Research Incentive Fund (RCRIF) awards that provide faculty and graduate students with seed and bridge funding for their research.
As the new Director of CPR, I am excited to take over an organization that has enjoyed a substantial amount of growth and success over the past five years. While CPR has its roots in the policy and decision-making sciences, it has expanded into supporting a broad array of research efforts in the fields of international affairs, political science, public administration, and public policy. The Project on Violent Conflict (PVC) and the Project on International Security, Commerce, and Economic Statecraft (PISCES) have also significantly deepened the Center’s research and outreach profile in the areas of international security and conflict. Faculty members that have recently worked with CPR have also deepened our understanding of healthcare, healthcare policy, government retirement systems, and our criminal justice system. These projects have contributed to the educational mission of Rockefeller College by providing students with a range of valuable research opportunities. As Director, I look forward to supporting the College’s students and faculty in developing new areas of strength.
If you are interested in pursuing grant opportunities with CPR or would like to discuss sponsored research opportunities, please feel free to reach out to me directly or a member of the CPR’s administrative team.
