Evelyn has a background in early intervention and HIV outreach in rural communities. She has a demonstrated ability to maintain contact with highly mobile populations; she is also bilingual in Spanish and English. These skills make her a valuable asset as a field interviewer on the evaluation team that is working on the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) initiative in Orange County.
