How You Can Help
You can support our efforts to eliminate cancer by contributing to the Fund for Memory and Hope.
Commemorative plaques mounted on the marble Wall of Memory and Hope are available to all donors making gifts of $1,000 or more. You can honor or pay tribute to a loved one who is a cancer victim or survivor. Gifts can also be given to support cancer research in hope for a cure for a loved one with cancer or for all cancer victims.
| Plaque Size | Gift Range |
| 2” x 9” | $1000 - $4,999 |
| 2” x 18” | $5000 - $9,999 |
| 4” x 18” | $10,000 - $24,999 |
| 6” x 18” | $25,000 - $49,000 |
| 8” x 18” | $50,000 and above |
Other Ways to Give
Contributions of less than $1,000 are also most welcome. Each time donors make gifts of over $100 they may memorialize a loved one by listing a name on the electronic kiosk in the cancer center lobby.
Cancer touches all of us--rich or poor, young or old. All donations, regardless of size, are appreciated and give the great satisfaction of supporting cancer research. Your tax-deductible contribution to the Gen*NY*Sis Center for Excellence in Cancer Genomics can be made online. Please be sure to designate your gift to the Cancer Center’s Fund for Memory and Hope in the “Comments” section under “Gift Information”.
You may also make check or credit card donations by mail. Checks should be made payable to: The UNIVERSITY AT ALBANY FOUNDATION with a request to credit the gift to The Fund for Memory and Hope. You may complete a pledge form and mail it to:
