  • TUTR COLLECTION:

  • TUTR - The UAlbany Training UTR Collection
The UTResource provides a database of UTRs that contain consensus sequences of experimentally discovered regulatory motifs.
From this database we generated a collection of Training UTR datasets. The sequence files are meant to be used as blind test sets to simulate experimental results one might expect from a process such as immunoprecipitation. Each sequence in a given file contains a previously characterized RNA motif conforming to a defined consensus.

  • HOCUS LOCUS TECHNOLOGIES:
  • LIA - Locus Intersection Analysis
LIA allows for any number of sets of genomic loci to be compared for common regions (overlap). Any length of nucleotides can be defined for either minimum allowed overlap, or maximum gap between loci. Locus bridging is also allowed if required.

COGENT - COntrol set GENeraTor for genomics
COGENT allows users to generate randomly sampled sets of actual human genome sequence (as well as random nucleotide sequences), either matched for an input set or based on request parameters.

HLDBM - Hocus Locus Database Manager
    - Specialized meta-data tables which describe what information is available and how it is structured.
    - The ability to use these meta-data tables to add new data sets to the system on the fly, and have them become immediately available.
    - Uniquely structured tables of additional annotation, allowing for rapid retrieval of large repositories of information with minimal overhead.
