advisors in the Advisement Services
Center welcome you to the
University at Albany. It is our mission to
help you get started on the right path at
the University to achieve your academic
and career goals. Your advisor will guide
and mentor you through your first few
semesters at the University until you
declare a major.

We pride ourselves
on being student-friendly and we encourage
you to maintain close contact with us
throughout your years at UAlbany. You will
meet your academic advisor for the first
time when you attend the Planning
Conference.

appropriate academic pathway in your first
semester
at the University at Albany. It is essential
that you follow all of the
instructions on this site. It will take at
least 1 hour to complete.
For best course availability, you should submit
your Course Request Form no later than June 1,
2012.
Do not wait to submit until you
come to Orientation.
