Pre-Health Advisory Committee
The UAlbany Pre-Health Advisory Committee (PHAC) is an interview and evaluation process for UAlbany undergraduates who plan to apply to medical, dental, or optometry schools. The PHAC evaluates students’ Academic credentials and Non-Academic credentials. Click here for information about our ranking system). Ultimately, the pre-health advising office will assist you in your application to medical, dental, or optometry school by submitting your committee evaluation and supporting letters of recommendation to professional schools after you apply.
The PHAC grants one interview and evaluation per student. The PHAC commences each Spring. Therefore, make sure you are the best applicant you can be before interviewing with the PHAC. Click here (when to apply link) to determine when is the best time for you to apply.
