Early Assurance to SUNY Upstate
Medical University
Early Assurance MD
Program
Although the University at Albany has no formal agreement with
SUNY Upstate Medical University, University at Albany sophomore
students who intend to go to medical school after graduation may
apply to the Early Assurance Program. The Program allows
qualified students to continue their undergraduate work without the
pressures associated with medical school preparation.
Applicants to the Early
Assurance Program must have a minimum grade point
average of 3.5, a minimum SAT score of 1300 or
ACT score of 29 and a high level of academic
performance. The MCAT (Medical College
Admission Test) is not required. Please
consult the Pre-Health advisor for further details
concerning this opportunity.
