New Transfer Student Academic Advisement
The University at Albany communicates with and serves students and families primarily via email and web “self service” technology. Through these “electronic communications” the University transmits such information as financial aid packages, billing information, grades, academic records, campus employment, and course registration.
Therefore, it is essential that students activate their MyUAlbany and Webmail accounts.
To set up your password for MyUAlbany, you will need your PIN (Personal Identification Number). This is generated in response to your admission deposit.
If you have not yet received it, you may call the Student Help Desk at (518) 442-3700.
With your PIN in hand, click on Password Set/Reset, and complete the registration.
Your NETID will be generated at the end of this process.
To log on to MyUAlbany, you will enter your NETID and the password you create.
